I grew up in Charleston, SC and received my BFA in Studio Art – Drawing from the University of South Carolina. Since I was a child, I had always wanted to pursue a career as an artist and focused mostly on graphite and color pencil artwork. At University, I started working on much larger artworks and got the chance to experiment with new mediums. My work now primarily uses oil pastel, watercolor, acrylic paint, and ink. My artwork is largely influenced by comic artists I grew up reading. I will often draw in a much more comic style, but often combine it with realism.
